This month’s presentation will cover the need for Effective Communications in today’s business world, highlight the challenges to communications and suggest steps and methods to improve communication effectiveness. Meeting participants will be asked to share their experiences and expertise on this topic during the presentation. Following the presentation, participants will be more knowledgeable on the need for effective communications, the causes of inadequate communications and actions that can be taken to make communications more effective for their organizations and themselves. On Friday March 21, 2014, high school students from all around Bergen County will converge upon Bergen Community College in Paramus New Jersey to take part in hands-on workshops in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.). The goal is to open the minds of these young people to the various career opportunities in the S.T.E.M. fields as they participate in the SECOND ANNUAL TEEN S.T.E.M. Day!
We are looking for volunteers to help host/teach one of these sessions. Students will be anticipating exciting and engaging hands-on activities and we look forward to your help offering these experiences to them! We are also looking for volunteers with information tables at lunch regarding Careers in S.T.E.M.
