Spouse Night Wine Tasting Event – The Science of Wine
Ever wonder how your favorite vintage gets that perfect taste? Learn how at an evening of informal conversation and wine education at the annual Spouse Night! The theme will be “The Science of Wine,” a wine tasting and cocktail reception. The focus will be on the technical aspects that contribute to the flavor profile of different varietals. The evening will include 5 – 6 wines to taste, cheese and other light appetizers, and instruction lead by one of Bottlerocket’s knowledgeable staff members.

2015 ASQ Metropolitan Legacy Award Presented to Dak Murthy
The NY/NJ Metropolitan Section is pleased to announce the 2015 ASQ Metropolitan Legacy Award has been presented to Mr. Dak Murthy. Dak is a long time section member, past Section Chair and currently is serving as both a Volunteer-at-Large and as the Section’s Nomination Committee Chair. The the award was presented to Dak on Sunday, June 21st 2015.
ASQ Metropolitan Legacy Award is the highest ranking & most prestigious award for ASQ Metropolitan Section & is awarded annually.

Congratulations to Alex Wang the recipient of the 2015 Walter Young Scholarship!
Brief Bio about Alex
After going to college to pursue software engineering, Alex discovered an interest in design and user experience. This summer, he is interning at GoDaddy, working on improving and standardizing the company’s UX across all products.
In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, exercising, and watching shows.
Alex is interested in constantly improving user experience in every aspect of life, and consistent quality is one of the most important aspects of it.
He plans on using the scholarship to continue pursuing his education.
